So you have a PanelView Plus and want to view or monitor its memory usage?

Well in today’s article I’ll show you step-by-step how to use the PanelView Plus Configuration Menu to do just that.

Step 1) Power on your PanelView Plus and return to the main configuration menu as shown below:

Step 2) Select Terminal Settings from the main menu, and then select System Information and Enter:

Step 3) Now select Terminal Information and Enter:

Step 4) Now select the Memory Allocation button:

Step 5) After reviewing the memory allocation select OK:

Step 6) Now to enable (or disable) the Runtime Ram Usage popup select the Runtime Ram Usage button:

Step 7) Select the Show Ram Usage button to turn this feature on or off, and then select OK:

    Are you saying in your PanelView Plus 600 you do not have the screen in Step 5?

    Without details on your exact model I really can’t provide an answer, other than to say that is the screen where the change is made.

    Note that it is extremely rare to have to change these settings – this was a problem with the initial series of PVPlus that only had 32mb of memory, but later models had more.
