ET 200AL MultiFieldbus Interface Module IM 157-1 MF:
According to a recent article by SIEMENS, the SIMATIC ET 200AL distributed I/O system has been enhanced with the addition of an IM157-1 MF MultiFieldbus interface module. This update enables the ET 200AL I/O system to be utilized with a PROFINET controller, as well as with an EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP controller.
The MultiFieldbus interface module is suitable for operating the SIMATIC ET 200AL I/O system on the PROFINET, EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP fieldbuses for the following applications.
