Daily Industrial Automation News Rundown:

This Tuesday morning we cover new Articles and Product Documents.

First up is an article from B&R about how Strama-MPS implemented their SuperTrak linear transport system in an Medical Devices assembly system. To learn the details and check out the video of the system in action, click here.

Next up is an updated line of Rosemount Radar Transmitters from Emerson. Said to be more reliable than ultrasonic and hydrostatic devices, these devices come in either IO-Link or Hart modules, each with 4-20ma analog outputs. To learn more, click here.

If you live or work in the Minneapolis area, you may be interested in the Emerson Technology Expo going on this Thursday. For complete information including a session agenda, and to register, click here.

From events to new product literature, next up is a new brochure for Schneider’s Din Rail Mount 24vdc Easy UPS. Coming in 240Watt and 480watt versions, as well as with a separate battery pack, you find the details of this line in the new publication here.

Also new to Schneider’s literature is a brochure on their 1U Rack Mount APC Smart UPS. Supporting up to 300watts / 500va at 120vac, the details on the SC500RM1U can be found here.

From UPS’s to Relays, the next new item on today’s list is a detail guide to Omron’s Slim Relays. This “training document” is more than just a brochure, including details I think most users will want to know, and you can grab a copy of it from Omron’s website here.

In additional to new literature on Omron’s smart relays, we also have a new brochure on Omron’s line of Power Supplies which you can find here.

And that brings us to our product spotlight, and today’s we’re featuring my Mastering Logix Applications with PLCLogix 5000 simulator. This course comes with a 15 Day trail license of PLCLogix, or get it for free when you buy a lifetime license of the simulator from us at The Automation School here. If you’d like to know a little more about PLCLogix 5000 first, we also covered it previously here.
