Turck announced it’s offering new, versatile Profinet absolute encoders for precise positioning and fast data transmission.
The REM (multiturn) and RES (single-turn) series use the latest Profinet encoder profile (version 4.2,) allowing the single turn devices to offer 19-bit resolution, while the multi-turn models offerup to 24 bits of resolution.
Not only do these encoders support Profinet, but the also support Media Redundancy Protocol (MRP), Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
