Today we’re covering news about 3D Safety, NAT, Din Rail UPS, Regulator, Filtration, ControlLogix and more in our Automation This Morning blog for Monday, February 20, 2023.

First up in our new products section is a new Din-Rail mount UPS from Eaton here.

Next is a new Sick Safety Rated 3D camera here supporting an area up to 4 meters, and a safely level up to PLc.

Wago also has new Terminal Blocks here in its TopJob line, of which my interest was peaked by the Lever version.

In new articles today, first up is one from Antaira here featuring it’s Wired Router with 1:1 NAT and VPN features.

Parker also has a couple of new articles of interest. First up is an article here on how to go about select a pressure regulator.

The next article from Parker is here and covers “game-changing” developments in water filtration.

In our product spotlight today is The Automation School’s ControlLogix Online Course, PAC Basics. Designed for those with some existing PLC experience who’d like to get up to speed on the CompactLogix, it comes with lifetime access and support.

In related news, we also have an announcement here that Wittenstein is starting a new joint venture to bring haptic feedback (touch sensors) to robots.

And Global American has a new article here detailing what makes Industrial PCs different from their commercial counterparts.

PiControl Solutions also has a new article out here discussing how their APC software can help companies reduce waste and increase efficiency.

On the Opto22 website this morning we found a new blog here detailing all the resources they have available to help users of their groov products implement MQTT communications.

And today on the Software Toolbox website here there’s a new article detailing OPC UA Directory Servers, and how to add their OPC UA servers to them.

First up is a new product announcement here from Banner about their ZMX Series 3D Time Of Flight Sensor which can measure and monitor objects within a three-dimensional area.

Next up is the latest update of Inductive’s Ignition product here. New features include IEC 61850 and RS-485 support, as well as Custom Right Click menus and One Shot buttons with Disabled States.

Over on the Grace Engineering website here we have their latest mid-week blog, this one covering different advantages of using condition monitoring products like those in their GraceSense line.

OnLogix has a new blog here which does a great job of walking readers through how to setup their PC to dual boot between Windows 11 and Linux.

And Global American has a new blog here discussing the differences between HDMI and DisplayPort.

On the WWT website today I found two new articles of interest. The first here explains ITops, DevOPs and Agile Software Development. The Second here discusses the steps you should take to insure a successful hypervisor installation.

And the final article for today is one from AspenTech here detailing the concrete steps they help customers take to substantially reduce their energy bills.

Keeping up with every new iteration of Intel’s and AMD’s chipsets can be a challenge, but thankfully the folks over at Premio are helping with their latest blog here about the Intel’s Elkhart Lake release.

OnLogic also has a new blog here which dives into how Asset Performance Management is used in the Oil and Gas industry.

Over on the ISA website here we find a new product announcement from Pepperl-Fuchs about its new KFU8-SR-EX universal powered switch amplifier for intrinsically safe and SIL2 applications.

A new vendor to the Automation Morning Show, Acromag, has new Ethernet Remote I/O Modules here that allow mixing of Analog and Digital I/O.

Acromag also has new Modular Ethernet I/O Modules here for up to 32 analog outputs on a single Ethernet drop.

SMC has several new products out today, including new models of their Compact Guide Cylinder here.
