PROFINEWS has a new story about the IO-Link community working with the mioty alliance to increase their collaborative efforts and cooperate more closely in the future.
With that in mind, they’ve created a joint working group focusing on the adaptation of IO-Link (IODD) data models to seamlessly integrate them into the mioty standard.
The purpose of the alliance is said to be to enable mioty low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) technologies for industrial IO-Link applications, with tight integration of software tools, including device on-boarding for maximum compatibility.
