About My S7 Course:

In my new S7 course, students will learn everything they need to know to get starting using Siemens PLCs with confidence!

I start the course off with an introduction to S7-1200 and 1500 lines, including which manuals you'll need, how to find and select components, and how components are assembled into a working system.

Then the students learn all about the programming software, TIA Portal Step 7, including how to get a free 21 day trial edition of the software which includes a full PLC Simulator for those students who don't own an S7 PLC. Beyond the trial, I also cover which Siemens S7 Starter Packs are available that come with a lifetime license of Step 7 and a S7 PLC for under $500.

After the student become familiar with the hardware and software, in the rest of the course they will learn to master the process of creating, testing, editing, and troubleshooting Step 7 programs created for the S7-1200 and 1500. And for those who wish to follow along using the free trial software or low cost starter kit, many self-paced exercises are included so student's can refine their skills.

Students are also encouraged to post questions under any lesson they have a question on. Our instructors visit the site every work day just to answer student questions.

And when the student completes the course, they'll unlock a completion certificate with the number of professional development hours earned listed on it, but that's not the end of their journey!

Even after students complete the course, they'll continue to have access to all of the lessons and exercises, as well as continued instructor support, so the student can come back for a refresher or to pose new questions to the instructor.

So if you or someone you know needs to learn the Siemens S7 line of PLCs, if you submit the form HERE you'll receive a notification when my new S7 course goes live as well as receive a 50% off coupon!

You can also use the above form if you have any questions about the content of this course, or if your question is on a different course you can use this form here to get in touch.

Sincerely,
